  • By purchasing, booking or participating in any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Please read them carefully before making a purchase or booking.
  • If you have any questions, please contact:

    • Other language-learning services that may be introduced in the future
  • The exact content, duration, availability and price of each service will be displayed on the website or otherwise communicated to the student before purchase.

3. Current Lesson and Course Options

  • Our services may currently include:
    • Group Lesson – £15 per person
    • One live online group lesson.
    • Monthly Group Package – £100
    • Eight live online group lessons to be used within the applicable monthly package period.
    • Private 1-to-1 Lesson – £30
    • One live online private lesson.
      Monthly Private 1-to-1 Package – £210
    • Eight live online private lessons to be used within the applicable monthly package period.
    • Complete Course – £349 (one complete course/level; approximately 10 lessons as a guide, with flexibility — a student may need slightly more or fewer lessons depending on progress.)
  • The £349 Complete Course covers one individual course/level within the Spanish Survival Method learning pathway. It does not cover the entire six-course pathway.

  • A Complete Course is designed around approximately 10 live lessons, normally lasting approximately 60 minutes each. This number is provided as a guide rather than a fixed limit.

  • The actual number of lessons is flexible and depends on the student’s individual learning progress. Some students may require slightly more or fewer lessons to complete the relevant course/level.

  • This flexibility is intended to support reasonable differences in learning progress and does not constitute unlimited tuition. Each additional course/level requires a separate purchase.

  • Intensive Spanish Programme – Price available upon request. The structure, timetable, price and conditions of an Intensive Programme will be agreed individually before purchase.

  • Prices and packages may change from time to time. Any price change will not retrospectively alter a purchase that has already been completed.

4. Lesson Duration

  • Unless otherwise stated, live lessons are approximately 60 minutes.
  • Students should join lessons on time.
  • If a student joins late, the lesson will normally still finish at the originally scheduled time.

    5. Bookings

    • Lessons must be booked using the booking system or other booking method authorised by Spanish Survival Method.
    • Bookings are subject to teacher availability.
    • A booking is not guaranteed until it has been successfully confirmed.
    • Students are responsible for ensuring that the email address and contact information supplied during booking are accurate.

    6. Group Lessons

    • Group lessons may contain one or more students.
    • Where a group lesson currently has only one participant, Spanish Survival Method may choose to deliver that session individually. This does not convert the student’s purchase into a permanent private tuition package.
    • As the number of students increases, group lessons may be delivered with multiple students as originally intended.
    • Group composition may change over time.

    7. Monthly Packages

    • Monthly packages are intended for students who want regular and consistent tuition.
    • A Monthly Group Package currently includes 8 lessons, and a Monthly Private 1-to-1 Package currently includes 8 lessons.
    • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, lessons included in a monthly package should be booked and used within the applicable package period.
    • Students are responsible for booking their sessions sufficiently in advance and subject to available appointment times.
    • Unused lessons do not automatically carry over into future package periods unless Spanish Survival Method expressly agrees otherwise.
    • Where Spanish Survival Method is unable to provide a purchased lesson because of teacher unavailability, an appropriate alternative date or other reasonable solution will be offered.

    8. Complete Course – £349

    • The £349 Complete Course covers one individual course/level within the six-course Spanish Survival Method learning pathway.
    • The course is structured around approximately 10 live lessons and associated learning activities. This number is provided as a guide rather than a fixed limit.
    • The actual number of lessons may vary according to the student’s individual progress and learning requirements. Some students may complete the relevant course/level in fewer lessons, while others may require slightly more.
    • The package is intended to support completion of the purchased course/level and does not provide unlimited tuition or access to additional courses or levels.
    • Each subsequent course/level within the six-course pathway requires a separate purchase.

    9. Student Responsibilities

    • Students are expected to:
      • Attend lessons punctually
      • Participate respectfully
      • Complete recommended practice or homework where appropriate
      • Maintain a suitable internet connection and device for online lessons
      • Provide accurate information when booking
      • Treat teachers and other students respectfully
      • Avoid disruptive, abusive, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour
    • Spanish Survival Method reserves the right to end or refuse participation where behaviour is seriously inappropriate, abusive, threatening or disruptive.

    10. Cancellations and Rescheduling by Students

    • We understand that plans can change.
    • If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
    • Where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, we will normally allow the lesson to be rescheduled, subject to availability.
    • If a student cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, fails to attend, or does not join the lesson, the lesson may be treated as used and may not be refunded or rescheduled.
    • We may exercise reasonable discretion in exceptional circumstances.

    11. Cancellations by Spanish Survival Method

    • If Spanish Survival Method needs to cancel a lesson, the student will be offered a replacement lesson or another appropriate solution.
    • A student will not lose a paid lesson because Spanish Survival Method was unable to deliver it.
    • Where a suitable replacement cannot reasonably be provided, an appropriate refund may be offered.

    12. Refunds and Consumer Rights

    • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights that a consumer has under applicable UK law.
    • Where you purchase services online, statutory cancellation rights may apply in certain circumstances.
    • If you ask Spanish Survival Method to begin providing a service during any applicable statutory cancellation period, you may be asked to expressly request that the service begins during that period.
    • Where permitted by law, if services have already begun at your request and you subsequently exercise a statutory cancellation right, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already provided.
    • Once a service has been fully performed following the appropriate request and acknowledgement, statutory cancellation rights may no longer apply where permitted by law.
    • Any additional refund or cancellation arrangements displayed for a particular service will form part of the terms applicable to that purchase.
    • For refund enquiries, please contact:  info@spanishsurvivalmethod.com

    13. Payments

    • Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available by Spanish Survival Method.
    • These may include payment services such as Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Revolut or other supported methods.
    • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required before the relevant lesson, package or course is provided.
    • Students are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that they are authorised to use the selected payment method

    14. Currency

    • Prices will normally be displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
    • Where another currency is displayed or accepted, conversion rates or fees may be determined by the relevant payment provider or financial institution.
    • Spanish Survival Method is not responsible for exchange-rate differences or third-party currency conversion charges.

    15. Educational Progress and Results

    • Spanish Survival Method is designed to help students develop practical Spanish communication skills through speaking practice, guided repetition, high-frequency vocabulary, long-term memory and real communication.
    • However, language-learning progress differs between individuals and depends on factors including attendance, participation, practice, previous knowledge and individual learning needs.
    • We therefore do not guarantee a particular level of fluency, examination result, CEFR level or learning outcome within a specific period of time.
    • Any estimated learning times or progression periods shown on the website are indicative only and are not guarantees.

    16. Examinations and Qualifications

    • Unless expressly stated otherwise, Spanish Survival Method focuses primarily on practical language communication rather than preparation for a particular official examination or qualification.
    • Students preparing for examinations may benefit from the language skills developed through the programme, but Spanish Survival Method does not guarantee examination results or certification.

    17. Online Lesson Requirements

    • Students are responsible for having:
      • A suitable internet connection
      • A compatible device
        Working audio
      • Where appropriate, a working camera
      • Access to any required online lesson or booking platform
    • Spanish Survival Method cannot normally be held responsible for lesson disruption caused solely by a student’s device, internet connection or technical setup.
    • Where technical problems originate from Spanish Survival Method and materially prevent the lesson from taking place, an appropriate replacement or alternative arrangement will be offered.

    18. Intellectual Property

    • Unless otherwise stated, course materials, lesson materials, exercises, written content, videos, teaching resources, branding, methodology materials and other original content provided by Spanish Survival Method are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
    • Materials supplied to students are for their personal educational use only.
    • Students must not, without prior written permission:

    • Students may choose to provide feedback or reviews about their experience.
    • Spanish Survival Method will not knowingly present fabricated reviews as genuine student experiences.
    • Where a student’s name, image, video or identifiable testimonial is intended for promotional use beyond the context in which it was originally provided, appropriate permission will be obtained where required.

    21. Website Availability

    • We aim to keep the website and booking services available and functioning correctly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
    • The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

    22. Third-Party Services

    • Our website and services may use third-party platforms for functions such as payments, scheduling, video conferencing, communications or website functionality.
    • Use of those services may also be subject to the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

    23. Limitation of Liability

    • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
    • Subject to applicable law, Spanish Survival Method will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
    • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

    24. Changes to Services and These Terms

    • Spanish Survival Method may update its services, prices, packages or these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
    • Changes to these Terms will be published on the website with an updated revision date.
